Using Siemens StarCCM+, hundreds of configurations and setups were analyzed and evaluated allowing us to estimate on track performance impact. This aero package was the catalyst for expanding the team’s aerodynamics capabilities, and with increased development, our steps to increase vehicle performance is to validate our simulation model and estimate vehicle on-track performance in many more dynamic conditions.
